Midnights ♡

Hey everyone!! Taylor dropped a new album called “Midnights” on 21th of October. Today I’ll share my opinions on it, such as my favourite tracks, similarities and theories.

First track, “Lavender Haze” is a suitable opening track in my opinion. It has a enjoyable beat and nice lyrics. When I first heard it, I immediately thought of “I Think He Knows” from “Lover”. After that, i realized I wasn’t the only one.

Track 3, “Anti-Hero”. It’s the most streamed compared to other tracks. I loved the entire song, and the topic was unusual. It has a really good chorus.

The only collaboration, and the song everyone was excited for. “Snow On The Beach featuring Lana Del Rey.” I loved it because their voices sound so well together, it’s a comforting song. Moving on, what everyone was disappointed with, well, it’s because Lana only does background vocals. I also expected at least a verse of her. Anyways, it’s still one of my favourites.

Track 6, “You’re On Your Own, Kid”, a track that really affected me. The theme reminds me of “this is me trying” from “folklore” and is a typical track 5, it couldn’t be a happy song. I love it so so soooo much.

“Bejeweled”, the second music video. It’s literally the happier version of “mirrorball”. A sparkling song. The music video was a recreation of “Cinderella”. Also it caused so many theories. For example, when she clicks the purple “3” in the elevator, the instrumental of “Enchanted” at the start and at the end, “Long Live” with 3 dragons. Many of the Easter eggs point out “Speak Now” re-recordings are coming, I hope so because it’s my favourite album.

Also, from the 3 AM Edition, “Would’ve, Could’ve, Should’ve” is my favourite. The bridge is everything. Should’ve been in the normal version of Midnights.
